There are many educational tools and resources out there but why not use the places you have lived or experienced to enhance learning in your classroom. Our planet is a treasure to been understood. Here are some jewels from my home country with possible teaching points:
Giants Causeway N.Ireland - Great example when teaching landforms Volcanic lava to basalt hexagonal shapes for Geography/Geology or Mythology - The legend of Fionn mac Cumhaill.
If students are studying the Medieval period then you can draw on types and uses of castles. Familiar castles can be a good starting point. Dunluce Castle.
When encouraging descriptive and creative writing using real locations can stimulate ideas and discussions. Dark Hedges a film location for ‘Game of Thrones.’
So why don’t you have a think about how you can use your travel and experiences to light-up your learning environments and bring the sounds, smells and taste of life into your class. Authentic real life connections that students can relate to.
