Professional Development
I have been very fortunate to have attended workshops and presentations from innovative and inspiring Keynote speakers, Educators and Educational Consultants such as: Jay McTighe, Carol Tomlinson, Ian Jukes and Lance King. My professional development has also been further developed though interactions with my peers in my Professional Learning Communities. This learning has inspired me to use innovative teaching techniques in my lessons and ideas as to how to implement this across the curriculum. This includes the the importance of inquiry based learning, ATL's in the learning process and metacognition.
